Counselling supervision is an essential part of the counselling role as it provides a safe place in which the counsellor can evaluate their practice, be extended and developed, deal with transferences and counter-transferences. In fact it is a form of quality assurance and protection for both the counsellor and clients. Most, if not all counselling associations require that those functioning in the counselling role need to engage in ongoing regular supervision. It is our belief that all those in the people helping field require some ongoing supervision, consequently we at Peter Janetzki & Associates provide both individual and group supervision for all counsellors and people helpers, from those who have many years experience to the beginner.
