CLINICAL & PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
The Relationship and Personal Growth Specialists
Counselling supervision is an essential part of the counselling role as it provides a safe place in which the counsellor can evaluate their practice, be extended and developed, deal with transferences and counter-transferences. In fact it is a form of quality assurance and protection for both the counsellor and clients. Most, if not all counselling associations require that those functioning in the counselling role need to engage in ongoing regular supervision. It is our belief that all those in the people helping field require some ongoing supervision, consequently we at Peter Janetzki & Associates provide both individual and group supervision for all counsellors and people helpers, from those who have many years experience to the beginner. We have a number of supervision groups operating through out the year.
Professional supervision provides a safe and objective space in which to process work related issues enabling a more effective and efficient personal and professional life.
Our supervisors have undertaken specific training in supervision and also receive supervision for their supervision work.
Those who have sought supervision have included;
• Counsellors
• Student Counsellors
• School Chaplains
• Pastoral Carers
• Clergy & Pastors
• Community Workers
• Social Workers
• Teachers (including Deputy Principals & Principals)
• Medical Practitioners
• Small Business Owners
• Administrators

Mid October 2008 our practice manager Neroli (who is also married to Peter) was diagnosed with breast cancer. After treatment including a mastectomy and breast reconstruction (on 2 December 2008) and Chemotherapy in the first half of 2009 all is well. Therefore we are proud supporters of Pink Ribbon.
When Neroli's hair started to fall out Peter decided to join her in the removal of her hair. Peter calls it ‘chemo empathy’.
Thank you to all of you who offered well wishes, support, care, concern and prayers. Without these our journey would be so much more difficult. Thank you Peter J.

For more than 10 years Peter has been the host of Talking Life a talkback program that tackles a wide range of life issues from a Christian perspective. Many of the topics are issues that the church has difficulty in discussing in open forums. The program is often challenging, thought provoking and helpful, and aims to connect listeners with community and Christian support agencies.
